Dr Ayzaaz Akram

After graduating from Liverpool Dental Hospital in 1995, Ayzaaz immediately entered general practice. Very early on in his career he developed a keen interest in aesthetic and cosmetic treatments.
Completing numerous dental courses in the UK and USA; including year certificates in Restorative dentistry theory and practice, incorporating smile design, cosmetic dentistry, implant surgery and restoration (Tipton Dental Training). Ayzaaz has extensive experience in Botox, fillers and cosmetic treatments and has been providing complete aesthetic solutions since 2004, seeing clients from all over the UK and abroad.
He is also an experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist, utilizing this particular skill to allow nervous patients to relax, reduce night time tooth grinding habits and assist children in digit sucking habits.
Outside of his professional life, Ayzaaz is married to Misha, and they have two young children. He enjoys classical music and ballet, loves food both eating and cooking and is an avid football fan.

Dr Shiraz Akram

Shiraz has been providing general dental services in London since 1999 and to the local community in Fulham since 2004. During this time he has forged close ties with his patient base and is proud to be considered as ‘the family dentist’ by many of his clients. Shiraz has undertaken comprehensive training in the areas of implants, surgical, orthopaedic, orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry – having trained with world leaders in each of these fields.
Over the last 10 years Shiraz has undertaken personal tuition with world renowned dentists from the UK, the USA and Brazil and is pleased to be part of the first select group of general dentists to undertake the full-face-global 3-year orthodontic residency ; widely considered to be the most comprehensive orthodontic course of its kind.
This breadth of knowledge forms a sound basis from which to treat adults and children alike, providing his patients with aesthetic, healthy long-term solutions.
Aside from his profession, Shiraz practices Hatha Yoga, and enjoys foreign travel.

Abby McCahery
DipHyg – Dental Hygienist
Abby is our resident Hygienist, after qualifying from Dundee Dental Hospital in 1995, she went on to work in private practice in Bermuda for over 6 years.
Upon returning to London in 2010, Abby has been with Pure Smiles. Abby’s role is fundamental to the preventive approach of our practice; the majority of our patients’ see Abby regularly for maintenance treatment. She specializes in the treatment of nervous patients and has a wonderful reassuring professionalism that puts people at ease.
Outside of work Abby is an artist and spends as much of her free time painting portraits. Her other passions include skiing, scuba diving and exploring London.
Kiran Nichani
Practice Manager
Kiran manages our front of house and is your first point of contact with our practice. She has a warm, approachable manner and loves the opportunity to interact with patients’ whilst supervising the front of house. Kiran is here to make you feel at home and relaxed during your visit.
With over 15 years of concierge and management experience, having worked in Switzerland, New York and London and several years in dental practices, she is sure to make you feel welcome. Kiran also holds a Diploma in management from Les Roches.
During her spare time Kiran enjoys reading and cooking.
Mahalet Michael
Dental Nurse
Mahalet or Mal, is an integral part of our team. As a fully qualified and GDC registered dental nurse Mal has several years of experience working in a variety of dental practices. Mal relishes the interaction her job allows her with her patients, she enjoys calming nervous patients and young children, assisting during implant treatments are amongst her favourites with the cosmetic treatments running closely behind.
In her spare time she , enjoys reading books on her Kindle, going to the cinema and travelling.
Nadia Noye
Dental Nurse
Nadia , usually assists Shiraz. She is currently training to become a fully registered dental surgery assistant. Nadia has a vibrant personality and brings a great sense of humour to the practice. She also finds implant treatments and cosmetic procedures interesting. Nadia is very conscious of her role in making your visit a pleasant one.
Outside Dentistry, her passion is horse riding, she has owned horses and been riding since she was a young child. Other interests include travelling, shopping and sightseeing around London.
