Will Fulham dentists stay open during lockdown? We are open for business as usual

Ever since our dentistry re-opened in June, things have been a little different than usual. Thankfully, with another lockdown in place, our practices will be staying open. We’re delighted to be able to deliver vital, high quality dentistry to our exceptional community, in a time when we all need that bit of extra help.

In what has been a tough year for dentists around the globe, we’re proud to say that we’re back with more enthusiasm than ever before. With our New Kings Road practice staying open during the current lockdown and our Fulham Road practice operating on limited NHS services - as per government guidelines (NHS England and London Area Team NHS) - we remain confident that the future is looking bright.

Dental practices are some of the most hygienic spaces in the country anyway, but Pure Smiles is going that extra mile to make you feel safe. After every patient, we thoroughly clean our surgery rooms to control any possibilities of infection. We have also been using a staggered approach to patient appointments, in order to avoid any chances of cross contamination. Our additional guidelines, training and protocols are designed to make you feel safe in an environment suitable for both patients and our brilliant staff.

With healthcare being thrust to the forefront of our minds, it’s incredibly important not to forget about our teeth. Recent reports have indicated that there is a link between bad oral health and coronavirus. Bad bacteria can make us more susceptible to viral infections, especially ones that are respiratory.

Despite this, it’s easy to fall into those bad old habits, such as smoking or snacking, during these stressful times. These habits can have a severe impact on our teeth, so it’s crucial that you maintain those high standards and get in touch with your dentist if you’re spotting a problem. Ultimately, during COVID-19, your teeth are more important than ever.

If you have any fears or anxieties about your teeth, it’s vital to get in contact with your dentist before it’s too late. During these unique times, it’s understandable that many of our patients may be unsure about coming to see us. We can assure you that, with additional protocols, there’s nowhere safer to be. We are now operating on an appointment only basis, so make sure to get in touch with us as soon as you can.
